The Kyrano K-8 Shirt is made from the same jersey para-aramid as the Kyrano K-8 Legs. It has panels of the heavier knitted para-aramid on the elbows. This 100% para-aramid shirt has Velcro straps on the cuffs to stop the sleeves riding up and a Velcro fastener on the back so it can attach to the Kyrano K-8 Legs if required.
Para-aramid will go a darker shade of gold with exposure to sunlight, this is not only normal but to be expected. All para-aramid fabrics lose their strength in direct sunlight that is why we designed the K-8 Shirt to be worn under a shirt, sweat-shirt or jacket. Some companies now dye their para-aramid black therefore encouraging people to wear the item as a normal long sleeve t-shirt. However they forget to mention any disadvantages in doing so, with the above in mind we believe para-aramid fabrics should only be used as a liner.
This soft, fully breathable under shirt is machine washable and able to be tumble-dried.
